Curriculum

From the very beginning of my training, I have been passionate about foot and ankle surgery – a highly specialised field in which precision, experience and a deep understanding of the individual needs of patients are crucial. It was therefore a great privilege for me to complete an important part of my training at Schulthess Klinik, where I received the highest level of training in modern foot surgery. This time had a lasting impact on me both professionally and personally.

To further deepen my knowledge and broaden my horizons, I continued my training at a host of leading foot centres in the USA. The insights and experiences I gained there have further sharpened my focus on innovative techniques and individual treatment concepts.

In my current role as Departmental Head, it is particularly important to me to offer the entire range of foot surgery at the highest level and to use cutting-edge, evidence-based methods. At the same time, it is important to me that, despite all the specialisation, people remain at the heart of what we do. Every patient brings their own story, expectations and individual needs – and this is exactly what I attach great importance to. My aim is not only to provide my patients with the best possible surgical treatment, but also to provide them with personal, comprehensible and reliable support throughout their journey.
