News Schulthess Klinik team makes 20 appearances at the Hand Congress in Rimini

Our Hand Surgery and Research team was strongly represented at the FESSH/EFSHT Congress for hand surgeons and hand therapists in Rimini. We contributed to the discussions of the latest research results with 20 lectures and presentations.

This year’s FESSH/EFSHT Congress attracted a record 2,100 hand surgeons and therapists, who presented the latest research results from all over the world and discussed them in great detail over the course of the three-day event.

We are delighted to say that our lectures, particularly on the topic of joint replacements in the hand, received a great deal of positive feedback. This is also reflected in the fact that our publication Surface replacing arthroplasty of the proximal interphalangeal joint using the CapFlex-PIP implant: a prospective study with 5-year outcomes by Vanessa Reischenböck, Miriam Marks, Daniel B. Herren and Stephan Schindele was one of the ten most-read articles in the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) and we were able to present it at a corresponding event.
